NR 23-24 Arrest made in North Brevard Bank Robbery

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 40-year-old Nicholas Race of Weeki Wachee, Florida, for the robbery of the Space Coast Credit Union located at 6899 North US Highway 1, unincorporated Cocoa, that occurred on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Race was arrested earlier today in Hernando County by the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force and Hernando Sheriff’s Office after a warrant was issued by the Honorable Jennifer Taylor for the charges of Robbery without a Firearm.  Race is also being held on charges from the Titusville Police Department in reference to the robbery of the Chase Bank in their city on July 21, 2023.  He is currently being held at the Hernando County Jail Complex on $15,000 Bond.
