NR 22-20 Decedent identified in death investigation
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the male who was the victim of a homicide Thursday evening, June 9, 2022, in Merritt Island. The decedent is 64-year-old Joseph Hall of Merritt Island.
The investigation began when deputies responded to a residence on Hunt Drive at approximately 9:00 p.m. after the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Hall’s roommate who returned home and found a male deceased in the residence. Upon the deputies arrival, they located Hall who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing as Agents continue to conduct interviews and examine evidence from the scene. No arrests have been made at this time. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
