NR 21-39 Update: Body of Swimmer Recovered

The body of 26-year-old Geronimo Deangelo Black was recovered from the surf near Spessard Holland Beach Park in Melbourne Beach at approximately 1:40 p.m. this afternoon.  Mr. Black went missing while swimming at Juan Ponce de Leon Landings yesterday evening, which is located at 4005 S.R. A1A in Melbourne Beach.   The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Brevard County Fire Rescue, U.S. Coast Guard and multiple local law enforcement agencies were involved in the search for Mr. Black.
