NR 21-31 Investigative Update – Mims Death Investigation

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased person that was found this morning in the area of Cuyler Street and Hammock Road in Mims.

The investigation began when deputies responded to the area after a county worker discovered a body located off the roadway.  Agents have identified the decedent as 24-year-old, Teaon Sanders of Titusville.

The investigation is ongoing as agents continue to conduct interviews and examine evidence from the scene.  The decedent was taken to the Brevard County Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy will be conducted.  Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
