NR 21-28 Sheriff’s Office Conducting Death Investigation

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation in reference to a body that was discovered in the Banana River, east of Morningside Drive in Merritt Island, by a boater at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Agents from the Homicide and Crime Scene Units are currently in the process of conducting interviews and collecting evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
