NR 21-13 Investigative Update: Mims Death Investigation
DECEDENT IDENTIFIED IN DEATH INVESTIGATION
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the male who was shot and died Thursday morning in Mims. The decedent is 44-year-old, Alex Robinson of Titusville.
The investigation commenced when Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 10:00 a.m. after a 911 call was received advising a person had been shot. Upon arrival, deputies located Robinson who was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing as agents continue to conduct interviews and examine evidence from the scene. Based on the information thus far obtained it appears that this was an isolated incident targeting the victim. No arrests have been made at this time. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
