NR 19-45 Camberly Street Shooting Arrest
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 26-year-old Daniel Diemer of Port St John for the shooting death of his 45-year-old, brother-in-law, Kyle Alfred Zepeda III. Diemer was arrested after an arrest warrant was issued by a judge charging him with Second Degree Murder. He was taken to the Brevard County Jail where he is being held on a No Bond status.
The investigation began yesterday at approximately 4:30 pm, when an emergency 911 call was received in reference to a person being shot. Upon the arrival of deputies, the victim was located, wounded, inside the residence. Daniel Diemer was also located and detained at the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injury.
The investigation has determined that Diemer was causing a disturbance at the residence. The victim and his wife, who is Diemer’s sister, came to the residence to help calm the situation. As the victim entered the residence through a side garage door, he was shot by Diemer. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injury. An autopsy will be conducted by the Brevard County Medical Examiner.
