NR 18-14 Press Information and Itinerary for Deputy Kevin Stanton’s Funeral

February 23, 2018 - 8:07 am Author: Category:

Service Site: New Life Christian Fellowship: 6755 South Washington Street, Titusville

Please arrive at the site by 1 pm. I will meet with the media at that time.

Live feed:
The church can provide four inputs for live feed. You will need appx 100’ of XLR cable to accomplish this. There will be parking on the west side of the church for your trucks if you wish to hook into the feed. However, if you are parked there, you will not be able to leave until after the procession.

Sanctuary:
There will be room for the media inside the sanctuary. The church has asked that there be no flash photography during the service. They have also asked that the media stay within the designated area during the service.

Interviews:
The Sheriff may not be available for interviews until after the ceremony at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. We are attempting to identify a family or agency spokesperson who was close to Kevin, to provide sound for the media. If that happens, and I anticipate that it will, it will occur at 1:15 pm at the church prior to the services.

Procession:
If you are covering the procession or planning to go to the cemetery, please let me know when you arrive, so that I can advise where to park at New Life, at what point you will be allowed to leave ahead of the procession, and where to park at Oaklawn.

Cemetery:
Oaklawn Memorial Gardens: 2116 Garden Street, Titusville, FL

Parking is available on Garden Street. If you choose to enter the cemetery you will have a very difficult time leaving in a timely manner.
