Per Florida State Statute 775.13, any person who has been convicted of a felony in this state, any other state, federal court, or of any foreign state or country shall register in person with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office within 48 hours after entering Brevard County. (The statute defines “convicted” as “…a determination of guilt which is the result of a trial of the entry of a peal of guilty or nolo contendere, regardless of whether adjudication is withheld.”)
Registrations are completed Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (excluding holidays) at the following location:

The registration process takes about 30 minutes to complete and involves completing pertinent information relating to the crime committed, fingerprinting, and photographing. Registrants need to bring photo identification.
